Australia
Australia, located in the southern hemisphere, is a vast and diverse country known for its breathtaking landscapes, unique wildlife, heavenly beaches and laid-back culture. Australia is also the largest country in Oceania, with modern cities, vast deserts, lush rainforests and spectacular coral reefs. Australia's capital is Canberra, but its best-known and most populous city is Sydney, with its iconic opera house, famous Harbour Bridge and popular beaches such as Bondi Beach. Melbourne, meanwhile, is renowned for its art scene and lively cafés, while Brisbane and Perth offer warmer climates and a relaxed atmosphere.

Missteps
Forget to bring beer when invited to someone's house for a barbecue, even if your guest tells you not to bring anything - a 6-pack is acceptable but a case is preferable. A bottle of wine or two for dinner is standard etiquette.
Not walking on the left-hand side of the sidewalk and standing on the left-hand side of an escalator is a constant source of irritation for locals. What's more, don't forget to pay for your round at the bar, or risk being rude!

An anecdote
