Visa
French nationals are not required to have a short-stay visa to enter Mexico on a tourist trip, which may not exceed 180 days. No paid or unpaid work is permitted during the tourist stay. Offenders risk immediate expulsion from the country, often accompanied by a residence ban of up to two years.
Tourists must be able to present their original passport and migration form at any time and anywhere on Mexican territory, in the event of a check by the competent Mexican authorities.
